Location:
(upper) Salisbury village - mid west coast
Brief Description:
A modern spacious fully furnished 3 bedroomed self contained villa at
an
elevated location, from where a panoramic view over Salisbury village
to
the Caribbean Sea may be enjoyed from a west facing balcony (with
several
hammocks). A modern, well designed house with tiled floors
throughout. Open
plan lounge/ dining/ kitchen with central breakfast bar. Utility room
with
washing machine. Ceiling fans and stand fans. Insect screens to
windows.
Stereo system. Cable TV in Lounge and Master Bedroom. Master Bedroom
has
en-suite bathroom and its own private balcony. 2 bedrooms have double
bed,
the third has two single beds. Telephone (cellphones may also be hired
with most vehicle rentals). The village is well serviced with grocery
stores
and snackets. A five minute drive from Salisbury beach, where
fish
may be bought from local fishermen and scuba diving can be arranged
with
the East Carib Dive Club - you may relax at their beach bar and daytime
restaurant, Chez La Doudou. Other nearby restaurants at Tamarind Tree,
Stonedge & Sunset Bay. Vehicle hire is recommended. Under house
parking
available - a 5 minute drive from the main coast road (Portsmouth 35
min.,
Roseau 35 min., Melville Hall Airport 1 hour, Canefield Airport 25
min.).
A good central location, convenient for exploring the entire island -
nearby
attractions include beaches at Salisbury,
Macoucherie, Mero
&
Batalie.
Macoucherie Valley is very scenic and there are many spots along
the
river suitable for bathing. A little further afield are the Layou River
and Wacky Rollers (adventure park and river tubing), Mathia Dam, Morne
Diablotin National Park, Syndicate Trail, Indian River & Cabrits
National
Park. Good for snorkelling in the surrounding area.

Downstairs Apartment now also available
Brief Description:
A recently completed self contained downstairs apartment occupies
approx. half the floor area of the main villa above and is more
compact. A bar counter separates the kitchen from the Lounge/Dining
Area, which has cable TV and a small balcony. One bedroom with double
bed. 2nd bedroom has single bunk beds. One bathroom (not en suite) has
combined bath/ shower. External stairs lead down to the garden. On the
remainder of the covered area at apartment level is a small tiled
counter with sink and some garden furniture, where
you can relax outdoors and enjoy the west coast sunsets.
Vehicle hire is recommended at this
location.

per day (min. stay 5 days)
Apartment (for 1 or 2 persons) $50.00
each additional person (max 2) $10.00

discount for stay of 14 days or longer (except at peak periods -

Comments:
Keeps open the Salisbury option during periods when the villa is
already booked. Renting both the villa and apartment affords the
opportunity to accommodate a party of up to a maximum of 10 persons.
