Description:
A modern 2 storey building on a residential hillslope, enjoying a westerly
sea view towards the toe of Dominica. The
owners, Dominican returnees retired from the UK, live in the first floor
apartment and are the perfect hosts.
On the ground floor, accessed from the front garden, is a fully
furnished self contained 2 bedroomed apartment with generous lounge, dining
and kitchen. The bathroom is in between the two bedrooms, both of which
have sea view. Cable TV, radio.
The bedsit flat is accessed from the rear
garden - one large room with a bathroom built into one corner. Partially
self catering - mini-fridge, sink, toaster, kettle, percolator, microwave
but no stove. 4 poster bed.
Both units have stand fans, hot water
shower, insect screens to windows and nets over beds. Secure parking area,
attractive garden, & shady patio. Guests may also relax on the balcony
of the owner's apartment above. No telephone, though the owners have one
in case of emergency.
Comments:
Neat, spacious and cool. Great value.
In 2006, two new sea facing balconies
were added, one for each apartment, with table and chairs (see new pictures
below).
