spacious modern 4 bedroomed luxury three level residence on 2 acres of
landscaped garden and tropical rainforest. It is situated at an elevation
of 1,700 feet in the cool central forested slopes surrounding Morne Trois
Pitons - Dominica's second highest mountain. A few steps up to the main
entrance brings you in at mid level to a generous living and dining area,
tastefully furnished and displaying a wonderful collection of art, many
of which are the owner's handiwork, it even has piano. This opens
onto wide covered balconies with hammocks and furniture for open-air comfort.
There is also a bedroom with en-suite on this floor and a guest toilet.
A spiral staircase leads down to a studio, bedroom, bathroom, utility room
and a covered garden terrace, and up to a gallery with study area leading
to two more bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms.
A tranquile setting and a convenient base for exploring the
entire island.
Nearby natural attractions include the hiking trail up Morne
Trois Pitons (4,550ft.), Emerald Pool, Twin Falls and Layou River hot springs.
The south east coast is reached in 20 min.- Rosalie turtle beach, Sari
Sari Falls behind Laplaine, Victoria Falls on the White River.
Not near to any shops or facilities - vehicle hire recommended.
Approx. 30 minutes by road from Melville Hall Airport and 45
minutes to the capital, Roseau. The villa employs a maid and gardener.
